Or you all still waiting until we are good again?
At least Marjorie the dried up bag of misery from Lenoir City carries her saggy ass down to Neyland instead of bitching on the couch.

I will say trying to take a family is about damn near impossible.
Got 2 tickets for the mother in law for uga and the sumbitches were $191 out the door from the ticket office.
$83 damn dollars face value plus fees.
They are pissing away a generation of future fans because you cant afford to get them in there.

That is true. It is getting rediculous.

I think affordability is an issue but add to that the quality of the view at home experience & rising number of non-Leave it to Beaver family units and we now have this X-Box Generation of true fans (& I'll argue very engaged fans) that do not regularly attend games in person nor ever have. Just think how many fans a musical act (U2, Dave Matthews) have and how few as a percentage ever go to live shows? I think sports is moving in that direction. It was unthinkable a generation ago.

Personally I'm just a live experience guy when comes to both sports and music.

We had season tickets forever. We went to every game. Most times, I couldn't find anybody to go with me, as everybody that wanted to go, was already going.
Some of it, is that it takes your entire Saturday, sometimes, to go to a game. I had no desire to pay that kind of money, nor do I have that kind of money to burn.
And now with kids, they have things scheduled on that day, and unlike my old man, I am not missing their stuff to go to a UT game.
But still, it is way too much money for the experience of just going.
However, we will go to a game or two. But I am glad I don't feel like I HAVE to be there, just to say I was there.
I never thought I would see the day, when it is actually more enjoyable to go to a basketball game at TBA, than going to Neyland.

She will go when she can.
Late weeknight games are usually a no go for her.

She will go when she can. Late weeknight games are usually a no go for her. So you won't stand up to her and tell her she can not go.

I haven't been to a game since MTSU. And that was a physically grueling adventure.
Now that I can walk again I'm really looking forward to catching at least one or two in person this fall. It really is a much more valuable thing to be able to go to games when it's been physically impossible for most of the last four falls.
