I can confirm I saw Lonenut at a game with the aid of a cane.
VFL status was secured.

I'll probably go to a road game as always.
Fulmer's last stand against KY in 2008 was my last game at Neyland.

My boss has good seats that often get sold. I retain first right of refusal.

We had season tickets forever. We went to every game. Most times, I couldn't find anybody to go with me, as everybody that wanted to go, was already going. Some of it, is that it takes your entire Saturday, sometimes, to go to a game. I had no desire to pay that kind of money, nor do I have that kind of money to burn. And now with kids, they have things scheduled on that day, and unlike my old man, I am not missing their stuff to go to a UT game. But still, it is way too much money for the experience of just going. However, we will go to a game or two. But I am glad I don't feel like I HAVE to be there, just to say I was there. I never thought I would see the day, when it is actually more enjoyable to go to a basketball game at TBA, than going to Neyland. Ill have an extra from some basketball games this year. Expect an invite. Screw you, Roy. I'm a far better person and basketball fan than Sadnum.

With the shit riddled home basketball schedule we can probably accommodate a small group with no problem.

Magnum is an SC-Upstate fan because he knows Bearden Lee Humphrey.
He might be in a small group but it will be with a bunch of gays, not hardcore Vol fans.

I'm getting so old, that that makes him my own. And I'm hardcore enough that I missed only a handful of home games during the O'Neill and Wade and Jed eras. I was at Stokely every time the doors were open. I used to give Michael Curry a high five when I saw him in Target when he was working. I talked to Tony Jones in the bank last week, when nobody knew who he was. I about whooped a dude who took a CHik-Fil-a cow away from Little Magnum about 10 years ago at a BLuzz game. I was hardcore enough to be one of the 4 Vol fans in The O-Dome one night in Gainesville, and told some neck to get his keys to his rusted out pick up out of my face, when they were whipping us. I've got my battle scars.

Neyland & TBA will both probably have bargains available this season. I know that doing some sidewalk negotiating is tougher when you have family involved, but I'd say a lot of us have some other options if we do need to have tix in hand before we go.
Looking at the basketball schedule, once again it's not all that great for road trips. Xavier & Vandy are both weeknights, though I'd be interested if work allows. The game at Rump is at noon on a Saturday, so maybe this is the year I need to add that to my list. The other Saturday games are pretty much at night and a long way from Knoxville. No games at Athens or Columbia, either. Conference expansion, thanks for nothing.
