Chipotle is on the way. Should help with overcrowding at the Sheepcake Factory and Cheddar's, too. Went to the one often on The Strip. Haven't been since Chuy's came to town. I see they are adding that one there on Cedar Bluff. What was in that location before? My wife and I have wracked our brains and can't remember.

Knoxville really does have a nice share of independents. Best place to impress a gal with great food to boot is Humps in Powell. HUMPS! I have to get down there. I've heard you fellas mention it on numerous occasions.

Great Chili dawgs at Humps. Burgers too. Not enough local original places like that around town anymore.
Calhouns and Puleos were great at first. Now they are just like every other chain restaurant, in that the more they open, the worse they all get.

I was going to CLinton this morning and stopped in Pal at Humps for Breakfast.
Top notch, when they crumble your biscuit up for you.
Gravy and biscuits are not supposed to be whole biscuits. At least not for me.
They are that good there.

I'm gonna hang my hat on Perkins as the ultimate 3 AM comedown from a binge.
My usual (keep in mind this was literally 20 yrs ago):
Everything Omelette, Double Hashbrown with biscuits. Side of sausage patties.
I looked this up on my calorie tracker just a few weeks back and that meal alone was 3600 calories.
Never mind the case of Mich Dry I had that night.
I never got heavier than 235. No idea how.

Just ate at the Cheddars in Cookeville. Brother-in-law is the Butch Jones of restaurant selection.
Good news was no wait. Food mediocre at best. O'Charleys with tit tassles.
