aka "Jewdars" from now on.
Went for my bday w/ Mom, Dad, sister & bf, Grandfather, wife n daughter last night. Took an hour to get seated and another hour to get our orders. Was crowded but not bad enough for them to act like it was a fake football Saturday. If I recall correctly, it was that way the one previous visit.
Won't be back.

I've only been once but not on a weekend. Basically had no wait at all. From what I'd heard, I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth everything went.

If you don't like Cheddars, if you aren't there every Sundee after church then basically you worship the Devil.

The thing about Cheddars is that it is what you expect a sit-down restaurant's bill to be. When I started getting Chili's (and the like) tabs that approached or exceeded $40 when we ate there, we stopped eating at sit-down places more than once in a blue moon.

If you don't like Cheddars, if you aren't there every Sundee after church then basically you worship the Devil. Devil-worshipping status is saved for those who don't eat at the golden corral or the great american steak and buffet after services.

I have been to the Alcoa location several times and have only had 1 negative experience and that wasn't with the food. We had an idiot waitress that must have been high or something. overall, I like Chedders pretty good.

Cheddar's is the most overrated place in the area. I hear people all the time go on and on about how great their food is and how cheap it is. I've been there twice. I didn't think their food was any better than a number of places. And for how cheap it is, the entrees may be a couple of dollars cheaper than most places. But my bill wasn't too far off most other places.

I've been once paid by our company. Haven't been back...not because it was bad or anything, just not that much different from other restaurants and it is always too crowded.

Cheddars in the Tri Cities is a religion. Though I'm prone to hyperbole I exaggerate not an inch here. It's seriously like a cult.
