Imagine what will happen once Dobbs starts dominating the SEC.

OK, so give Dobbs some snaps and see what happens. Using two QBs the rest of 2013 is fine. It worked well in 2004. I am fine with that. Since he is no longer redshirted, play him...a lot! He showed great potential.

Unless he pulls a Peterman...
The Dobb-throes want CBJ to announce that he has a spot for Worley on the bench even if he is perfectly healthy. All lot of my diatribe has been that that is stoopid. Don't tip your hat to any of the upcoming opponents... make them ALL prepare for both QBs. One is young and will likely take off running if the primary receiver isn't open. The other is quickly becoming a veteran that will stay in the pocket and will rarely run. Doesn't seem like Worley gets sacked a lot... so even though his release isn't as fast as we'd like, he still gets rid of the ball when he's under pressure. He's had a few too many INTs, but he's still only been in about a dozen games in his career. He can still improve.
Worley is kind of like Andy Kelly and Dobbs is kind of like Sterling Hinton... only with more smarts. Just so it doesn't appear that I'm making that comparison on ethnicity, I'll say that Dobbs' game reminds me more of a Heath Shuler or an Alan Cockrell than does Worley's.
Typical Dobb-throe line: "I appreciate his effort and he seems like a good guy, but he just doesn't have the necessary skills." STF already... there's a reason that the Dobb-throes aren't making several millions of dollars every year to make those decisions and CBJ is.
I don't think that Worley had CP as an option the year that he was the Gatorade POY. I think that CP was a year ahead of JW.

I give up Thunder. I am not going to argue about it anymore. Worley ain't near the QB that Kelley was and Dobbs looks a lot better than Hinton to me. Hinton couldn't throw.
I will just wait and see what happens. You win. Worley is great.

Never said that Worley is great. Saying that sitting him on the bench doesn't enhance TN's chances of winning football games. I want to win as many games as possible in 2013. I don't want to make changes just to get some guy in so that he has some experience next year. I was googling for Hinton's stats and stumbled on this: www.volnation.com/forum/tennessee-vols-football/203803-worley-one-good-game-2.htmlDobb-throes...

Unless he pulls a Peterman... I doubt he would pull a Peterman... Like I said, I wasn't at all impressed with Peterman in the spring game. Butch Jones himself said about Dobbs in the linked article below: “He was poised. He was calm. He was disciplined. He had a command about himself,” Jones said.
And
“He’s a 4.0 student. I think he’s got a photographic memory,” Jones said. “You’re either a fountain or a drain, you know? Every day he’s a fountain.”
Jones said Dobbs wouldn’t let his new status as possible starter go to his head.
“You would never know that he played on Saturday. He is the same Josh Dobbs that we see each day,” Jones said. “I take great comfort in being around players like that.” www.govolsxtra.com/news/2013/oct/28/injuries-cloud-quarterback-competition-at/Sounds to me that Jones has confidence in Dobbs.

What was Fulmer saying about Rick Clausen in the post game interview at LSU? I don't pay much attention to coach speak.
How good are the Missouri and Auburn defenses? Do they attack or are they the bend but don't break, bow up in the red zone style? Any J. Clowney types? What about their pass defenses?

If they have good pass rushes, etc. Dobbs can probably scramble. Why are you so scared of playing Dobbs alot? Like I said, I will just wait and see what happens. You may be right, he may be a flop, but he sure didn't look like one against Bamma. I like Worley and he has done some good but he ain't the answer imo.

I'm not. I'm saying that Worley isn't toast and think that if he's not injured will give TN the best chance of winning out. I'm also not getting all giddy that Dobbs is going to be Tony Robinson in the first quarter at COLUMBIAn or make the cover of SI after Auburn. He was in high school earlier this year. I'm not worried, just not expecting much if he plays the entire game (unless Missouri folds early).
I said that I'm a Dobbs sheep, just not a Dobb-throe.

I'm not saying that Dobbs will be a flop. I'm saying that the Dobb-throes are wrong for giving up on 2013.

The subject is supposed to be about the idjits calling all the radio shows that are running off Worley. Most of them sound like retards. I've named them Dobb-throes.
It's not supposed to be about how good Dobbs might be.
