Jason Davis passed away this morning around 3:30. Mine and Chunks best friend for 31 years now. We have lost too many way to soon lately. He will be missed.

I'm really sorry to hear that. Just heard that he was so ill the other day. Prayers to his family and friends.

Met him once at the TBA. Nice guy. He'll be missed... I was hoping he'd land on this board.

Pump, I saw your tribute to him on Facebook this morning.
Good grief, I had no idea. He seemed like a great guy.
Good bless the Davis family.

Wow that is so sad me and him used to rib each other. In all my cooning around with him I did not know he was a black man at first. He was a lot of fun. Glad 101 you told me mos ago that he had cancer. Anybody know what kind of cancer he had or where it was at?
Prayers to his family and all of us who were his friends

I had no idea he was sick. I invited him here but obviously he had bigger things to think about than silly message boards. I enjoyed interacting with him in the other places. So sad.
Looks like his hope was in Christ so I know he's in the best place now.

But Pump, you and I are the same age and that is too young.

That is such a sad story. I had no idea the guy was sick. Echoing what you said, its always comforting to hear that someone was secure in their faith when they pass away. Still, his family lost him way, way too early and that is just so sad.
The anonymity on these boards is weird. I would have never known until that facebook link was posted that I had interacted with him in the real world. I drive a Lincoln and I'm pretty sure that Jason Davis was the name of the guy that located the car I bought.

That is really sad. I met him the one time that Thunder did. He did seem like a great guy. Wish I could have known him longer. Magnum is correct. He is not suffering now. God bless.
