Yeah, just a bunch of noodling, but still.
Great touch/tone.
Highly doubt whoever bought that thing ever made it sound like that.

Probably owned by some hack now... a Nashville doctor or lawyer maybe.
I doubt that any band has ever had 4 guitar players as great as LS had in a 5 year span from about 1972-1977. It's hard to rank them because each is so different. Gaines was likely the most talented, but I don't like the songs that he wrote on nearly as much as those with credits to Rossington, Collins, and King. Gaines' songs seem more honky-tonk, less rock. I like the 1st four studio albums far more than Street Survivors. Collins co-wrote some of my favorites... Searchin', Needle and the Spoon, and On the Hunt particularly. I Need You (King/Rossington/RVZ) and Saturday Night Special (King/RVZ) are good 'uns. Ronnie Van Zant was a genius... he wrote all of those pretty much while in his middle 20s. He was about 25 when he wrote: I hope Neil Young will remember, a Southern Man don't need him around anyhow. That was pure genius.

I wonder if Ed still has the gold outfit and if Ronnie kicked his ass for ever wearing it. youtu.be/9scsSgNNnBE

Unknown will be back at the Shed next month. Unknown Hinson guitar skills plus doing the vocal banter and lyrics way past what I gave the guy credit for prior to now. Always I considered the roadshow a novelty act. However, Now I don't think thataway.

Unknown has been playing for more than 50 years. He is left handed and his father made him learn right handed so his strong hand has the guitar neck. He plays any style. He is a fantastic picker. Fish Camp Womern is a great blues tune. The character deceptively masks how good he is.

Harmonics with feedback, pinch harmonics, uses the pick on fatter strings while using his fingers on the light strings, plays every note on the neck, uses his thumb like Hendrix on the fat E and A... dude is pretty much a virtuoso on the guitar. youtu.be/HZwO7QsMJRs
