Hmmmmm. Doesn't one actually have to have had a career at something to retire from it?
Locker had a donut and a cup of coffee in the NFL, not a career.

I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. The guys that are capable of managing their lives and wealth can drop out and don't need to deal with life long disabling injuries. They can live off of what they earned on the front end if they're smart. Heath didn't do much of anything after getting paid about $20 million. He retired because of his foot, much better than from multiple concussions. Then Albert Haynesworth knocked it out of the park. He signed a $100 million deal and then got fatter, happy, and lazy. He's forfeited a big chunk of that, but he had so much that he may not die broke. His burger business on the strip seems like a good idea. His motorcycle dealership out on Kingston Pike just east of Lovell Road went out of business though, most likely due to mismanagement. I didn't understand why Clayton Bank had to sue him over a loan of a couple million dollars though.

I've never heard of that guy. Apparently he was pretty good. Jason Worilds. His ancestors can't spell.
