I buy stamps about as often as UT beats a top 5 team.
Raise them up to 5 dollars a stamp and see if I give a damn.

We were just lucky to live in the good ol days and not know it. When I started driving in 1970 gas was .36 a gallon

Heck Dog, I can remember in 2000, it was .99 for a little while.
Then 9/11 came and they jacked that stuff up. Then Katrina came and they jacked it up more.
And the reasoning these gas company clowns/crooks claim is nothing but lies. They say "That price reflect what we are going to pay for the next load."
LIES.
I was in Maryville this morning, and it was $3.06 and had to go to Morristown this evening. It was $3.29 or $3.35.
NOW, when it goes down a 0.25 that means I save about $4-5 per fill up. Those bastards could sell the gas for under $2 and be just fine. They charge what they know people will still pay. I charge that the supply has nothing to do with it, because the supply is just fine.

The stupid ass government needs to ok drilling for oil in Alaska where there is supposed to be almost an endless supply. If those idiots would do that, we wouldn't have to depend on Arab oil and could bring all the military home. Gas prices would go way down (or should) and the economy could take off again. But noooooo... gotta protect that environment up ar.

I bought 10 cases of "forever" stamps when they first came out. When I retire, I'll sell em on e-bay and live like a king.

FedEx and UPS aren't going to let you use them. Post Office will go the way of the rotaray phone by then.
