I picked up a side hustle about a month ago and have been working evenings on the weekends so missed about every game since Bama. It’s been such a relief to not stress out every Saturday. 10/10 would recommend for everyone’s mental health!

Definitely the worst loss in program history considering the stakes. ‘01 SECCG is up there but this was far worse IMO considering the point spread vs the final score.

Obv when a season like this pops up out of nowhere it’s gonna hurt like crazy.

I am pissed at myself for not going to watch the girl's high school basketball game instead of that shit last night.

Folks are learning how to slow that offense down, and with no defense we are mid-level SEC at best. Should have known better than to even come close to believing we could go to the playoffs. I have switched to basketball mode to prepare myself for the let down it will bring to us. At least we have Vitello to hang out hats on until that sport actually matters in early june.

Consider this a place to let your emotions fly. That chit last night was the biggest deboggle of my life. The author Brian Tuohy writes about fixed outcomes in sports. Once you see it you cannot unsee it. Great players who just play horrendously. Aaron Rodgers throwing to no one for the entire 2nd half against the Titans. I didn't believe it until the Chiefs-49ers Super Bowl. There are things refs do to influence outcomes. Multiple books have been written. Refs admitting it. Look at this game. You have Tim Banks not making a single adjustment all night. Refs didn't call a single hold against SC, and Huepel was silent. Letting one team hold all game is a key way refs can influence. See the Super Bowl I referenced above. Hooker couldn't hit a receiver all night. Banks is held out for something that happens 10 times a week in a locker room. All fans are focused on is that now. "Gray that game wasn't fixed" A team that scored 10 on Missouri, 6 on Florida, look at the rest of their scores. They go 9 for 9 on touchdowns. Tennessee doesn't accidentally get even a single stop. Our defense was literally jogging around. Nothing to see here right. This SC team is VERY bad. Clemson will beat them by 4 TDs. Tennessee will beat Vanderbilt 49-28. We will all write last week off to a mirage and we will look toward the bowl game. We know that WWE is fixed and we still watch. Yet with billions being wagered on football games every week, we honestly think it's left to chance who wins, and we accept naked eye obvious bullshit and rationalize it that it's about a locker room fight after this team beats Florida, Alabama, LSU, and was 8 quarters against two horrible teams from absolutely going to the college playoff. And no solution was available except to suspend Banks, leave him in TN, and "we arent going to talk about it.." Then they get boatraced by a mid range PAC-12 level team. Do I know how it works and who calls the shots? Of course not. But I'm not an idiot. If something defies logic to this degree, its reasonable to assume that we were dealing with a fixed outcome. Trust your gut and the eye test. None of this made any sense.

The more I hear about this Jeremy Banks stuff and the boards going wild with it, combined with zero holds called on South Carolina and Tim Banks refusing to blitz at all and just leaving these middle school corners on islands. I mean, it's like Richard Simmons deciding to bang a bunch of chicks. Someone decreed that this is NOT UT's year. If you think this stuff is actually decided on the field and not by some greasy fat guys in too tight suits in Howard Beach, Queens passing their orders thru Vegas then I cannot help you.
