The Fountain City Lions Club oversees maintenance of the park and "lake".
From their facebook page: Fountain City Lions Club Knoxville July 17 at 6:08pm ·
Please pardon our progress. The lake is being drained while undergoing a $200,000 project to help reduce the algae problem. There will be limited access to the sidewalks and the lake. The project will run through December.
