Yeah, I'll go ahead and give em an F+.
!st team playing deep into 4th quarter.
No points 3rd quarter.
2nd, 3rd, + Walk ons do not even get to see the freaking field, which by the way as to turf quality SUCKS and is emb00arassing.
Abomination.
And Jimmy Cheek and Depetrio are unconscious.
Board of Trustees is a freaking Joke.

That was the true definition of an exhibition game. Terrible opponent, games plan not to get players hurt, just do enough to get out of there with a win. I feel sorry for people who paid good money to see that in person.

An F for a shutout victory is a bit harsh. Obviously Dobbs was told not to run the ball which is a huge part of our offense. He's only a threat when he can run, otherwise he is an average (at best) QB. Also N Texas was trying to run out the clock the entire game so the offense got limited touches, which was fine by Butch. Defense got the shutout, we took care of business like we were supposed to. I think Butch should have started Dobbs, then put Dormady in with no restrictions. That would have satisfied fans a little more than playing a restricted Dobbs.
I give them an A for getting the shutout, and for not getting any injuries, ejections, and any other stupid thing that can happen when playing a game like this.

Splitting hairs, but actually gave em an F+, but even so probably somewhat harsh.
Definitely wanted to see Dormady Much sooner, especially with Dobbs nowhere near 100%.
