I might actually watch a baseball game now.
Games 5, 6, & 7 are scheduled for November. I hope that the Yankees and Cubs or Mets make it. Nothing like baseball when the temp is in the 30s. I assume that Toronto has a roof... if not there could be baseball played with temps in the 20s.
I believe that there are a bunch of former Vols on the playoff rosters.
Go Cubs! My dad is a member of the Die Hard Cub's Fan Club. If Chicago doesn't get to the World Series this time, he may never get to see it happen. He's almost as old as their goat curse. He grew up in Chicago.

I would probably watch and cheer for the Cubs.
Honestly have totally tuned out of MLB in my adult years.
Followed the Astros in 80's while living in Houston.
Then tapered off after moving back here.
As a kid I was diehard Detroit Tigers sheep, and actually did keep a freaking transistor radio under my pillow listening to Earnie Harwell on WJR calling the games.

Toronto has the original retractable roof. They missed the playoffs 21 years until 2015.

One thing that I do like about those 10 teams... they've been around for a while. I think that Toronto might be the newest and it's nearly 40 years old.
I'm not a fan of the Tampa Whatevers, the Florida Marlins, the Colorado Heltons of the Arizona Snakes.

Interesting expansion teams time line: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Major_League_Baseball5 old school franchises (Yankees, Cards, Dodgers, Cubs, Pirates) 4x 1960s expansion franchises (Astros, Mets, Rangers, Royals) 1970s expansion (Toronto) I think that only the Rangers and Dodgers have moved... except for possible pre-historic baseball. Seems like the Cards were in Chicago before St Louis. Edit: actually I'm probably thinking about the NFL St Louis Cards. Looks like the baseball Cards have always been in St Louis.

2-0 Astros after 6. Yankees might have just 9 outs left in 2015.

NL games in WS will either be in NYC or Chicago. Games 5, 6, & 7 are in November. I hope it snows.
