We have done nothing, at all, without him as the OC here, since 1991. (When Fulmer was the OC.
Pete Boone cut his own nuts off by firing Cutcliffe.
I have no doubt, the guy could come back here, and be the OC and next year we would compete for the East.

There is absolutely no question that is true. Cutcliffe would not however win the SEC as a head coach at UT. He is HC material at Duke type programs, OC material at UT.

I get the Cutcliffe love, but he was an average playcaller, sometimes ABYSMAL.
Best coach on earth Mon-Fri.
Cutcliffe is a QB developer and an attention to detail guy.

Literally the last SEC title we won, without him on the staff, was 1969.

Most of the branches from TN's coaching tree have fallen off and were used as kindling.

Most of the branches from TN's coaching tree have fallen off and were used as kindling. Anything(one) with potential beyond kindling would have been preemptively lopped off Falmer's tree.

Literally the last SEC title we won, without him on the staff, was 1969. Was he here in 1985?

He was here for slmost 20 years, so the stat is believable.
Here's one, Fulmer was at UT for ALL of those SEC championships and 1969 as a player.

The fact that Cutcliffe is clearly the common denominator for every good season the past 40 years says a lot about the coaches they've had over there.
