The band members looked really pissed off when late in the game there was a live guitarist and DJ Sterling having control of the PA during one of the time outs. The band members were just sitting there motionless as the student section was going nuts while they were cranking out the AC/DC.
His name is Andy Wood. He went to GB Pittman and UT. He works for Creed's front person Scott Stapp. I think he has more talent than Creed's front person Scott Stapp.

That young man was playing some Angus on the Telecaster. Not really sure what Sterling was doing.

Not really sure what Sterling was doing. Neither does he, so the two of you are even.

OK Man, Ok. That Dude is a respectable and talented guitar player with deep multi-instrumental musical roots here in East Tennessee. Cool, I get that. And thanks for the education. But just because he is all that, does not mean he can't turn a hack stinker of a live performance. Which he did IMO on Saturday 10/04/14.

They didn't have a chance to make sure the sound was right. They just plugged him in and he started playing. I dIdn't notice what was going on right away, then it was on the Jumbotron, then two minutes after it began it was over.
I didn't realize until much later that he's the same guy that was in The Hot Trio. I saw that concert on PBS a gew months ago and thought he was pretty dang good.
I'm not really a fan of the Vai and Satriani style.
I guess Angus was busy on Saturday, 10/4/2014.
