The much celebrated term limits for Knoxville and Knox County governing folks has a big loophole in it. The law says a person can only serve two consecutive terms. There is no condition for that person running again at a later time. This has been brought to light by Mike Padgett running for his old seat as county clerk. That means former commissioners, Hutchinson, Ragsdale, and others can run for their old seats again. Good think Mary Lou Horner has passed or she'd be running again too.

I am fine with that. Some people just vote for or against the incumbent. They either like or don't like the job that person is doing, and vote one way, no matter who is running against them.
Some of those jobs don't need to be elected, in my opinion.

The Stupidintendent (spelled like I meant to spell is) needs to be accountable to every Knox County citizen, and not just to 5 of 9 school board members. That guy is a con artist. NEVER taught in a classroom. He has no clue.

I'm happy that Tim Hutchinson now spends his time in bankruptcy court instead of milking more off of the government tit.

If the people of Knox County are dumb enough to re-elect him, you could have 8 more years of Hutchinson and then JJ could run again for another 8 years.

He's collecting a pension. If he starts getting a paycheck his pension checks will be put on hold (I assume). He'd more likely try get elected to something outside of the Sheriff's office so that he can double dip.
