Amazing how much they mirror each other's records and such. Fulmer started to tank after not beating LSU in the 2001 rematch. Mack lost to Colorado after blowing them out earlier.
Their win loss records are almost identical. Brown didn't stick a knife in Johnny Majors' back though.

Brown is actually far worse, IMO. He performed versus OU as Fulmer did to Florida. Except he was even more abysmal routinely getting blown the hell out. AND, being in Texas he was actually playing the role of Florida in terms of recruiting advantages.
Imagine how Fulmer would be viewed if he produced these results against Florida:
L 28-38 W 63-14 W 14-3 W 35-24 W 65-13 W 12-0 L 12-45 L 10-28 W 28-21 L 35-45 L 13-16 W 28-20 W 55-17 W 63-21 L 20-36
Heck, he would have never been fired.
