Finally came ready to play on both ends. Not a very good opponent though.

In the pre-game commentary Wilkerson made a good point. Maymon and Stokes really haven't spent much time playing together. Stokes came on board mid-season two years ago. Maymon was out all of last year. They were on different summer league teams this year.
Maybe by january they'll be on a roll.

Playing a little less shitty each game. Competition is a little worse in each game though... however I wouldn't mind seeing X v USCeU dook it out.

We were debating whether D'Montre could be the best player UT has had that doesn't get to play.
I'm really liking Barton & Thompson.

I'm really liking Barton & Thompson. I agree. They are both better "point guards" than Golden ever was. They don't seem to make stupid turnovers and they play much better defense. Not much to say about last nights game. Got a big lead then got kinda boring after that. I don't know why Edwards doesn't play much. Good free throw shooter too. What about Reese? Didn't even get in the game last night for mop up duty. He was a decent 3 point shooter last year.

A lot of us bitched and fussed when Pearl/T.Jones had 28 people in the rotation and said he needed to settle on a maximum of 9 or 10 and sink of swim with them. Too many guys in the rotation is worse than not having enough guys in the rotation.

I think Cuonzo would like to use 7 or 8 guys. It just might not be the same 7 or 8 every game, depending on matchups & production.

Barton is the man. I like that it obviously pisses him off when people make dumb mistakes. Also he knows when to shoot and hits most of them. No turnovers last night.

He was a decent 3 point shooter last year. Does he play no defense? Is he injured? Is he in the dog house? I think he played a minute or two in at least one of the exhibition games.
