And it blows my mind why he is moving to Charlotte, NC and become the face of the "SEC Network", which will be based in Charlotte. What in the hell does Charlotte have to do with the SEC? Do the guys in Bristol, CT not have a frickin' map?

Isn't charlotte where JP was headquartered from? If that's the case, sounds like the network will just be farmed out to that bunch of losers w/ a little bit of espn mid management oversight.

Yes, and a lot of the old JP production guys are going to be involved in the SEC Network. Still, the SEC Network in Charlotte? That makes zero sense.

Heck, KNOXVILLE has a bigger TV presence, as far as production companies, than any other SEC city.
Or at least I would think so. MAYBE Nashville might rival it, but Knoxville produces a lot of TV programming, and has for many years.
HOWEVER, I can see why Charlotte, might be a good place. It is a non-SEC city, and smack in the middle of ACC country. No SEC team can say "They are partial to Bama or Aubarn because they are in Birmingham or partial to UGA or Aubarn because they are in Atlanta.
