There was just an ad with Tony Sarigussa selling DEPENDS.
Then another at the top for AARP.
They know you are here Rude Dog.

Not sure how Proboards sets them up...

I have not idea though...TLF is ad free for me!

I'm getting pushed Home Depot and Guitar Center right after I visit their websites. It's very 1984ish. I could probably delete cookies and make it stop, but I kind of like what they are selling.
Google even takes information out of your g-mails and then customizes ads for you.

Somebody just needs to pony up, buy a domain, and install an ad-free board.

Hmmmm. Seems like a www.cigarsinternational.com ad pops up almost every time I come to this forum. That's where I buy my cigars most of the time. That's one heck of a conkidink, or else Big Brother really is watching.

I get xfinity as well, but I've never visited their site. There are some banner ads that are targeted at this website, not 100% toward the user. Maybe Magnum doesn't actually have leakage to plug.

This one is really Big Brotherish. I bought a healthy olive oil spread at Kroger Friday night. First time in my life that I've ever bought this item or even heard of it. I used my Kroger card. Guess what banner ad I immediately start to see at the top of the TLF page. So Kroger is probably taking a kick back from some advertising agency by sharing my information. What is scary is that it's immediately associated with my account here. I expect to soon have visits from the IRS, the NAACP, and Dave Hart.
