Can't be any worse than the *snooze* one about some dead surfer they had on tonight. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel

Yeah, I tried, but couldn't make it very far.
It became too liberal w/ the white tourists and commercial industry taking over the colored man's islands.

They get ripped for not advancing in the NCAA, but it wasn't back then what it is now. The field ws less than half what it is today and teams weren't seeded.
That said, those were some great TN teams... and they didn't have a center/low post/pivot of note early on. Doug Ashworth was only 6'7". I think that Reggie Johnson was a freshman their last season.
They also didn't have a proto type shooting guard. Michael Jackson was a great player... but he was really more of a wing/small forward as were King and Ernie. Darden was a pretty good point guard, but I would love to have had a Alan Houston, Michael Brooks, Chris Lofton, Tony White, Jajuan, or Michael Edwards type gunner on those teams.
Low posts players were pretty important back in those days too. A Boerwinlkle or Kosmalski would have been a sweet addition.
Basically those teams were loaded at the 3 spot. King played the 4, but in the NBA he showed what he could do as a 3.
I also miss the way those teams knocked down the free throws too. Couldn't foul them or else they'd clean up at the stripe.
