Is this really gonna work even with talent in the SEC?
Saban in his Corvette, Richt in the Charger, Lester in the Camaro and Spurrier in his Caddy.
And up pulls Butch in the itchy pushie turbo Fiat.
Spread 'em

Not like it did in Conference USA or whatever he was in before.
Kind of like LD Ottinger, if he took his car up to CUP races.

I'm not sure what Tennessee is doing can properly be called the Spread.

Is this a new reality show on NBC's fall lineup?

Florida won 2 National Championships running a version. Texas A&M beat Bama last year. Y'all are older than dirt

I'm not sure what Tennessee is doing can properly called the Spread. You got that right there roobub. It's something, I guess, but does it really even exist or whatnot. Seems ephemeral to me.

Florida won 2 National Championships running a version. Texas A&M beat Bama last year. Y'all are older than dirt Yep, but what we are running right now isn't exactly how it is supposed to be run. For the spread/read option to work effectively the QB has to pull the ball and run it at least every now and then. Our QBs don't even give the illusion that they are going to run the football.

Butch has the coachspeak down. "It's a process"
Yeah, like watering damn bamboo.

I agree. And Dobbs is the closest to that but I'm not sure he plays. He won't ever get confused with Mike Vick or Tebow. I think Butch wants to have a QB who is more of a passer. Lots of short passing. I'm really not going to be too critical until he gets his players. The OL is too slow and selfish to buy in from what I've seen.

Butch has the coachspeak down. "It's a process" Yeah, like watering damn bamboo. Inside the four walls of the Anderson practice facility is the catch phrase of the week. Obviously.

Every team in college football runs the spread.
Get players.
