I don't want a river boat gambler for a coach.

I don't want a dumbfuck that isn't aware of the reality of his situation.

I don't have high hopes for Peterman. If the two freshmen aren't in a position to challenge Worley, then I think you've got to say they are long term projects. The kind of kid that can't win a job until their senior year.
We're going to need to recruit another quarterback. Maybe they could get lucky and find a juco. It's worked for Ole Miss.

Wrong. You can't go in there playing a conventional game as if you have an equal chance to win. You play with nothing to lose. And on 4th and a fucking foot you lean on that vaunted O Line (which was mauling them at that point)and try to make something happen. Florida will play their best game of the year and kick our ass just like always. With regard to the vaunted O line - spot on. And the next time I hear some clown try to tell me how good our OLine is I'm gonna have to just Hurl!!! right back into his or her face. Check that, maybe just onto the sidewalk in their general direction. Disagree w/you on the Florida game, though.

I've heard it said, authoritatively, that the Tenn qwotobackk of the future is not on campus right now. I'd guess the source to be maybe VCol thru TB, but not for sure.

That's some damn fine talent evaluation right there. 3 QB's behind New Age Joey Matthews and not a damn one can play at all.
Wonderful.

options 3 and 4 were in high school earlier this year.
Option 2 was given a chance against Austin Pee and wasn't impressive. He's been given a shot every day in practice and hasn't taken advantage of it. He'll get another chance if he's capable. Right now, Worley is the guy. Deal with it.

I'll say this. Worley didnt have as bad a game as Jones did. I am still astounded he punted that ball on 4th and 1 in the first quarter. To that point, things couldn't have went much better. The running game was working. You simply cannot give Oregon the ball anytime unless absolutely forced to do so. It was a big give up. I wouldn't think much about this game at all had that not happened. Butch Jones ain't winning jack shit at Tennessee. No way, no how. When TN had 4th & 1 at their own 36 while trailing 10-7, I don't see a whole bunch of domination in the earlier plays. A 12 yard run, a 51 yard pass. Not much else. You have to punt at that point.
