It was a fun day at Neyland. Reminded me a lot of the good old days.
Crowd was most likely 90,000 give or take 3K. That's a shame because it was a very entertaining game.
I hope Basilio lets Cattleman have one call on Monday where he has to admit that his man crush Petrino got totally tea bagged by #Butch.
The one thing that concerned me was the sequence at the end of the second half. The lame run on second down followed by the long bomb incompletion to stop the clock. Then the blocked punt and WKU touchdown. That was horrible. You do that crap against SEC teams you get beat.
Again though I got some goosebumps during the game and left chanting Its Great To Be a Tennessee Vol.

were u on the east side looking at a pretty full west side? the east side andnorth upper decks were sparse. i'm thinking more like 75,000 turn stile.

My friend said that if Tenn ends up losing, they will really blast Butch about that sequence. That was bad. That kept WK in the game.

The upper deck on the East side was just about empty and the upper deck in the new end zone seats were very sparse. I would say closer to 80,000...if that!

I suck at estimating crowds. I don't think it was as low as 75,000 but it might have been closer to 80,000 than my first guess.
