Peyton Manning: Back on field or retire
This is not a "should he" "I want him to" but "will he"
Personally I think he'll be noncommittal till after the SB then in Feb announce he's coming back.
If he is retiring I think he'll either do it tomorrow or wait til after the SB. Too classy of a guy to upstage rest of playoffs.

If he retires, no way he announces soon. Wounds are too fresh. Free agency may play a part too. Many of their offensive players are free agents and could draw big bucks. If he decides to retire, it may be mid to late February.

The noose better be a lot tighter than those so-called spirals today or that won't work well either.

That was the worst effort team wide from a home team that I have ever seen. Every soul on that Bronco team, save for Anderson, was an utter embarrassment.

SHOULD HE - YES
Will he - no. He will hang on one too many years and be an shell of his old self. I'm sure he was hoping to go out a winner, like his GM but it ain't happening.
He should go back up Eli and maybe win another title.
He has already said he will be back and he will.

He going to get traded to the Titans Good night. That would be the very worst thing that could ever happen for Peyton. And I agree that Peyton should walk away. He has nothing more to prove. However, he is way too competitive to walk away now. He'll be back.

One of my favorite days of the sports year was always the day after yet another Peyton playoff gagfest. It was always fun to hear the new list of playoff failure excuses from the 16/18 ballwashers.
This time, it feels different. Now, its like piling on or kicking a dead horse (Bronco or Colt, take your pick) To me, it seems like there may be a lot more to it behind the scenes. A Peyton Manning led team just doesn't attempt to become run oriented mid-season. And yesterday, aside from the fumble after the hit from the blindside, which has become a staple of Manning's game since his college days, it was almost like watching a different QB. I thought I was watching Tommy Maddox heave it up for grabs on those fly patterns.
Either way, its been a great career. He has nothing else to prove & the Broncos would probably still be okay. After all, if an AFC West Championship & playoff win is the goal, Tim Tebow gave them that. They could probably find an adequate replacement.
...another subject for another day, but even the quality of his commercials has taken a nosedive. Now there are 3 sucky ones for every good one. Its not like it once was.
