Lone Nut, if we hold anybody to 13 points this year, I will be surprised. I think this defense is going to be low on talent. I have to stop ragging on our defense this year, as Jancek's son is on my son's football team. I was pleasantly surprised. The defense looked much better in the way they play. I will not compare them to the 85 or 98 defenses, but I was pleased in the improvement. We will have to continue to get the push from the D-line, because I do not think the secondary is there yet. But the front 7 looks better.

But the front 7 looks better. Totally agree. Defense much improved, secondary still questionable. As a unit, though, and I guess I'll include both sides of the ball, how's about the focus, effort and tempo. They all played pretty much clean/penalty free with no drop offs/lapses. And they looked to be pretty well coached.
