Schizophrenia is probably the worst disease you can acquire as a young person. And it's a defacto death sentence. No cure, meds used to treat do more harm than good. College aged kids are most susceptible to developing it so it is absolutely possible.
I pray they aren't manufacturing an excuse because it's a huge disservice to those who live with it for real.

Voices in his head? That's serious mental illness.
I'll put up a crisp $1 bill that he was on some type of anti-depressant or other mind altering prescription drug.

Highly likely--and this is PURE SPECULATION--that he took some derivative of Ritalin for ADHD at some point in his life.

One of the reports I read said that his mom claimed he had heard voices in his head. That's a classic symptom of schizophrenia and/or psychosis.
Those are serious mental issues that destroy lives even with the best "treatment."
The pharmaceuticals that are typically given to people with these diagnoses are bad news with side effects worse than the disease itself. What I was saying was that I'm willing to bet (small denominations only 'cause I'm cheap) that Jackson was taking some kind of psych medicine that was probably the ultimate cause for him to start taking marching orders from those voices in his head. If he gets a decent attorney that's likely going to be his defense.

Hey, I'm a newbie/late adopter to twitting. Give me a year or two to get my feet wet. However I did tweet at the CIA so I'll probably meet my demise in a mysterious accident shortly.

Until then, well, I remain dubious.
