I was wondering what was wrong with MM when he was honored before a game last year (or 2015) and he was in a wheelchair. At the time I thought it was maybe the disease that's afflicting so many in the NFL resulting from so much brain trauma. One of the best ever Vols. Lost an old friend to ALS two weeks ago, sad to watch the progression. He never played contact sports and there was no family history.

At the time I had thought that Marvin was probably in the wheelchair due to Traumatic Brain Injury when he was honored as a VFL. I had no idea that he had ALS.

Perhaps Lou Gherig (sp) and ALS is the only connection.

There are a lot of unknowns with ALS. Sometimes people get a diagnosis and are gone in a year. Then there's Steven Hawking who's had it for something like 50 years. He might actually be a robot however.

Chuck Barris, game show host / CIA agent. Chuck Berry, now Chuck Barris. I'd be worried if I was born in the 1920s and my name was Chuck Baron.

Ken Sparks Farragut and Carson-Newman
Seemed like a decent feller. I never liked how he would recruit Johnny Majors' players when CN was in the lower division and they could transfer and play immediately.
