I'd say the USFL was a concern for Reggie since he was a Memphis Showboat before going to the NFL. That whole era was disrupted by the USFL much like the AFL did to the NFL. Herschel went to Trump's Generals. Young went to LA I think. Seems like Jim Kelly played there first. Pickens had a bad attitude which might have hurt his draft stock. Seems like he punched out a student parking ticket writer. I don't think he was real coachable either. NFL paychecks got his attention. White wasn't a part of the regular NFL draft. He had already signed with the Showboats and wasn't draft eligible. He was taken in the first round of the 84 NFL supplemental draft. Kelly never played for the LA Express. Steve Young played for the Express in 84 and 85 and then went to Tampa Bay Bucs for two seasons before going to San Francisco. Jim Kelly played with the Houston Gamblers in 84 and 85 and then signed with the Bills. "Kelly played there first"... "There" being the USFL. I know he didn't play for LA. I get Wikipedia too.

Can't find anything more specific. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_WilsonWilson was the last pick of the 1st round to Denver. Looking at some of the riff raff that went before him it's astonishing. That was the draft that opened Couch, McNabb, Akili Smith and then Cade McNown a bit later. Fernando Bryant, a corner from Alabama, went a few picks before Wilson. Almost positive he went to Murfreesboro Riverdale.

Eric Berry and Jerrod Mayo arent a fraction the players Al Wilson and Dale Carter were respectively. I'd say that Berry and Carter were very close. Berry was a freshman/sophomore at UT. DC was a JUCO. Then Berry was injured early on at KC. Maybe by respectively you were comparing Carter to Wilson though. Agree to disagree. I don't think Berry is even in the same sentence as Carter. Interesting they ended up on the same NFL team.

Then say what you mean, instead of leaving the masses to try and decipher your intent. Just saying.

Jim Kelly only played for the Houston Gamblers in the USFL. Anything with information other than that is incorrect.
