One of my favorite two days in sports is about to crank up - the first two days of the NCAA tournament. Still can't get over UCLA got in, they're a pathetic team in a weak league. Kansas, Louisville, Texas, LSU, and Arkansas were some of the teams I thought were overseeded. I think Arizona should have received a #1 seed over Duke despite the league they play in. They had a good non-conference schedule, one could argue better than Duke's.

Two more play inners tonight, then the best two days in sports Thursday and Friday. Basilio is holding court at Cassy's in Northshore Town Center both days. 9 TVs, smallish sounding venue. Beer.

Iowa State was my substituted favorite with the Vols not participating.
Still have hope for Purdue and Valparaiso. And Belmont.

Great tourney so far. 5 games decided by a point, with another great finish in the Arkansas/Wofford game. Not as dramatic today. Michigan State almost coughed one up to UGA. UGA had a couple of nice runs at the start of each half, but otherwise the Spartans pretty much had things under control.
