John Chavis could get into some trouble over his exit at LSU. While he was technically employed by LSU, he was seen and photographed in TAMU gear on recruiting visits, a NCAA violation.

That is about as biased of a story that could possibly be written. I like the part about not getting permission to talk to TX A&M. Another school approaches you with sacks full of money and you tell them that first you have to go get permission to talk to them. Right...

I dunno, Thunder. To your point about getting permission to talk to A&M  while still under contract at LSU, well OK.

But as I understand it, Chavis was allegedly openly recruiting for TXAM while still under contract with LSU.

Huge difference.

I'm not saying that Chavis didn't screw over LSU. I am saying that the writer is wearing purple and gold glasses. Taking several cheap shots at Chavis doesn't make him very believable.
