I suppose I'm for Seattle against New England in about the same way I was for OSU against Alabama.
Ambivalence reigns.

Rooting interests aside, I think its a great matchup. Although Green Bay or Dallas would have been just as intriguing, imo. I love the way both teams play the game & I'll be happy for which ever team gets a ring. ...except for LeGarrette Blount. The thought of him even playing for a ring makes me sick.

I used to like Seattle until they hired Pete Carroll. I don't like him at all. But I dislike Brady and Belicheat even more.
I actually think this will be a very good game.

If New England commits overwhelmingly to the run they have a small shot. There is no difference in last years Denver O vs that defense than it is for New England. If Denver's WR's couldnt get open how are those puny white midgets going to? But Gronkowski you say! Earl Thomas neutralizes every TE he plays and will again here if he can get back healthy.
I was going to say something like 38-10 but MP pointed out that the loss of Tate and Harvin is really starting to show itself and that is definitely true. Its among the bottom 5 WR groups in the league. Harvin was a huge part of how last year became a blowout.
The other factor of course is its Bellichik coaching and not poor, dumbass John Fox. So with that New England probably hangs around awhile. I still see a relatively stress free 4th Q.
Seattle 24 NE 10
*Subject to change depending on injury announcements.

I can't stand New England so I am pulling for Seattle. It doesn't matter that much though.

The 35 point margin was more about how bad Denver was than how great Seattle played. Denver stunk it up all the way around last year. It started with Mr Cerebral deciding it was a good idea to call an audible lined up in the shotgun on the first play of the Super Bowl backed up inside the 15 and only got worse from there.

TT with the reliable (and played) observation no one is at fault but Manning. It's never a coach either. Unless it's Fulmer or someone who coaches at 40 years ago relevant Pitt.

Where did I say it was all Manning? It was a total team loss, although it was billed as Manning's 'Legacy Game' The defense & special teams sucked just as bad as the offense.

Yeah, only because it was the first play of the game (and a stupid one) & things only got worse. Oh, and it was his legacy game.
