Towel, do you actually support little boys getting ass raped or do you just really like you some Joe Pa? No to ass rapings for kids. Not a fan of JoePa. Never liked him actually. I just think the smear campaign against him since the Sandusky thing broke has been unfair and uncalled for. I'm sure in hindsight he wishes he had done more. (In fact, he made that statement and its been used like hell against him too.) But to conclude that he actively covered for Jerry Sandusky for years all for the benefit of the PSU football program is so over the top and totally without evidence.

If JoePa could have done anything more and didn't, the smear campaign is warranted. Now I do sort of agree that to conclude he actively covered for Sandusky is wrong, everyone deserves their day in court. However, we are pretty damn sure that the President, VP, and the AD DID cover up for Sandusky so as to not tarnish their sweet little football program. Who gives a crap about the 409? This is a case of college football being held as more important then a bunch of kids getting raped and that's pretty sad. If anyone doesn't think that way to much importance is placed on sports, this is one of many instances that proves it.

I don't see how covering up anything for an ex-coach did anything to help their football program. I don't see how keeping JoePa for the last decade he was there did anything to help PSU football either, but maybe that's just me.
