Dobbs is a running threat, BUT he isn't very accurate at all when he is on the move. I suspect that is the main reason he's been the third string QB all season.
Peterman can throw on the run and is a threat to run.
If Worley had only one more year of experience rather than two I doubt that he would be the starter.
It was amusing to hear Will stirring up the black QB conspiracy theory on Basilio saying that since he was at three practices and he thinks that Dobbs was the most accurate at those practices, he should have been starting all year. I guess they aren't charting every throw and recording all QBs at EVERY practice anymore. The coaches should just survey us sidewalk QBs to let them know who to play.
My question is this. If Dobbs is not effective early on against USCe, what moves should be made? Peterman? Leave Dobbs in come hell or high water? Trot Worley out ala Willis Reed? Run the wildcat with Pig, AJ, and others?
Seriously, I expect Dobbs will struggle, if not at USCe soon thereafter. What do the coaches do at that point to satisfy Jethrodom?

All three have holes in their game. Peterman apparently does fine when it's practice, but chokes when it really counts.

Dobbs is mobile, smart, has bulked up, and has a surprisingly really strong arm. He's just not accurate enough.

Why do you say Dobbs isn't that accurate? His completion % against Bammer was 60%.

Why do you say Dobbs isn't that accurate? His completion % against Bammer was 60%. It would have been about 50% had North not made a couple of amazing catches. He had North wide open on a short pass for an easy TD and missed him. I think they had to then settle for the second field goal. It's been widely reported that the reason he hadn't passed Peterman or caught Worley was his accuracy. He's much more accurate when he sets up, but the advantage he has is his mobility. He is the least accurate when he is on the move. Being less accurate when moving diminishes the advantage gained by his mobility. I'm not saying that he shouldn't get the opportunity to see if he can keep being productive. However I'm hearing way too many convinced that he's the second coming of Tony Robinson. Skill-wise, he's not anywhere close to T-Rob right now. I feel better about next year, but I will be very surprised if Alabama won't end up as his best performance of 2014. I'm not going to rip him if he returns to average but I fully expect those criticizing the coaches for not using him earlier to rip Dobbs after he makes a handful of mistakes.

He missed some wide open receivers on some of those plays. The slant where he threw behind the receiver was a killer for the comeback.

Why do you say Dobbs isn't that accurate? His completion % against Bammer was 60%. Plus there were some drops by receivers.

Seems like a tight end dropped one across the middle. North dropped the ball at the goal line but it was way behind him, a horrible throw. About half of the completed passes were little swing passes to either side... mainly to running backs.

Wolf dropped 2 right in his hands I think. One was from Peterman though.

Peterman also missed a wide open receiver when he was rolling to his right.

That this is even a thread is beyond ridiculous. Yep. An absolute waste of bandwidth. The qb for Tennessee moving forward is very obvious.
