I watched from the Dobbs FG drive to the end.
Actually kind of enjoyable.
Hell, he beat them 20-14.

Sort of like saying we beat FL in '96 if you take out the 1st Q.
Bama got bored, put the car in neutral. Everytime they needed points to keep it comfortable they got it.
Had Dobbs (and this God Awful staff) got 2 TD's rather than 2 FG's you possibly have a competitive game.
There is nothing--NOTHING--about that game anyone should feel good about.
It's predictive of only more losses to close the season.

I have to disagree a little.
It was 27-0. Looked like 55-0 Final.
No one expected what followed with Dobbs providing a spark and Tennessee hanging around til the end.
Dobbs had nothing to do with what happened before he got in there so I give him credit for outscoring the opponent(especially it being Bama) while he was in there.

There is nothing--NOTHING--about that game anyone should feel good about. Yes there is. Tennessee rushed for an average of less than 100 yds with Worley at QB. With Dobbs against Alabama, 181 yards rushing. Dobbs adds that extra dimension.

JM with some serious WOOL growing in this thread. Hell, i think Dobbs came at 13-0 which would shear even his sheepy analysis

Dobbs came in on the third series. 13-0. JM was busy watching Three's Company reruns.

Then he lost 21-20 but if Pig Howard catches that deep ball in the final minute, we line up for the winning FG.
It was a moral victory.
Some of you are SAD!!
Just enjoy the WIN

So, which bowl game do winners of moral victories go to? You probably need to make a reservation.

So, which bowl game do winners of moral victories go to? You probably need to make a reservation. As Movie Star & former TLF poster DCColetrain pointed out on Twitter UT leads the nation in "if onlys" Which I've expanded to "Ifs & Buts" -- the banner is in production But where would the "Ifs & Buts Bowl" be played? Disney is the quick easy answer but I'm going to suggest Washington D.C. Obama can be the grand Marshall at the parade.
