Took a big time haircut on his house just east of Western Plaza. $800,000. Neighbor of Robyn Wilhoit from channel 10. Guess he isn't a VFL like Bruce.
From KNS Property Scope (Josh Flores): Martin bought the house on Thistlewood Way in 2011 for $767,000. Listing broker Debaran Hughes, of Realty Executives, previously said the family made improvements worth more than a million dollars to the property.

I bet the Realtor means he made improvements of more than $233,000. When I first read that comment many months ago I interpreted as he spent $1,767,000 on his home.

Actually it does say "improvements" worth more than a million dollars. Surely he isn't that stupid.

Did he tear it down and start over? How do you spend 1mil on improvements on an 800k home.

That's a lie, if she says he made a million$ worth of improvements. If he made the improvements worth more than $1,000,000 then why was the tax assessment only $729,800?
The listing brief states the outdoor spaces were added. It has a fire pit.
He might have made $200k of improvements to have a total cost of over $1mil.
It is in that little gated subdivision that looks like it would be difficult to get in and out of. It is on the North side of Kingston Pike, so a person who works at UT would have to make a left across Kingston Pike. Not an easy task.
Good grief.
