Does this make him eligible to attend Mullins proposed TLF gathering? Make it a family cookout. I'm sure he'd love to meet your little ones.

Wow. Confesses and still gets off. The power of a good lawyer. I wonder he he will keep a low profile or come roaring back as Big Al?

Remember this the next time you want to make fun of some lieberal state doing something crazy. In Tennessee your peers on that jury put your buddy the confessed molestor back on the street. Yes, but a jury is generally made up of dumbasses. They want sheep on any jury panel.

I wonder if there's more to it that's not being reported by Satterfield. TV stations haven't touched it (no pun). There was no story when/if he was arrested. It isn't even not guilty by reason of insanity. It's not adding up.
There's not much of anything reported about the victim's testimony. Most incriminating thing is his own admission, and the defense didn't dispute any of it (at least as reported). When there are high profile murders nutty people start confesing left and right. But again, as reported, defense did not dispute the acts of perversion.
I don't get it.

Hinckley is not guilty by reason of insanity and I would assume that there are meds developed since 1982 that would control his condition. But 32 years later he's still being detained for popping a cap in Reagan's ass. I guess he should have rubbed his pecker on him instead.

This is truly eyepopping. Will he even be forced to register with the sex offender registry?

I mean seriously. No conditions? What if he's not taking the meds? I assume he's not returning to the monestary since he's a FORMER monk.
I do not get it. Who else is walking freely amongst us?

TV stations haven't touched it (no pun). There was no story when/if he was arrested. WATE did a story on March 17, 2013.

And now WATE has little or no coverage of the trial? I haven't looked today. Maybe they're just lazy and will now run a story.

It's been 10+ years. The girl probably had a crumby memory, and they couldn't prove anything.
But that is where the legal system is weird. Dude confessed to it.
He could have denied it, and there would have REALLY been no way to prove it.
There is just a burden of proof on the prosecution. No crime scene, no evidence, the case would have been he said/she said. But HE said he did it.
