I made the 5 minute trip over to Catholic High to watch my Yeller Jackets and LYLE JONES was there. He saw his commitment on a team that got their asses handed to them. THings have changed in 25 years since I was a Soph. We beat Cat'lick 42-6 in the playooffs. Tonight it was 61-0 at the half.
HORRIBLE.

Lyle was wearing a smoky gray polo with the ONLY orange on it being a Rifleman logo.
He walked in when we did, and I was referring to LYLE and he wouldn't respond.

Thunder, I take two things out of that game. I am thankful my West Rebels do not play Fulton and VERY thankful they play Bearden.

Fulton broke their single game scoring record with those 84 points, one better than the old record of 83 set last week against Powell.
The good news for Powell is that they only gave up 47 to CAK tonight.
The bad news is that they only scored 14.
They've been outscored 130-16 this year by a 3A and 4A team.
Long, long season for the Panthers looks to be coming.

Gramps, we left at the half of the Coalfield game. I listened to your call of the South Doyle game on the way home. Then kept it on while piddling around and listened to your post game.
Great job. It is as good a broadcast as I have heard for high school football.

I wouldnt mind hearing that myself. You guys stream it Gramps? We didn't get last night's game streamed. We are installing new streaming equipment and the tech guys evidently started their "long Labor Day weekend" on about Tuesday. We'll have it up by this week's game. I'll post the streaming link when it's up and running.
