Jason Swain, Fox 43/Action 10 News. How long has this been airing? He's been doing high school football previews for them for a few weeks now. I like Swain. Good guy, does a decent job.

Is he the bow tie guy on Sunday Sports Talk with Hubbs? Can't tell you. Don't know that I have ever seen that show.

I like the decision to kill TSR right when football season starts, when there is actually something to talk about. And to keep it going during this period, when there is nothing to talk about.

Also interesting is the Vol Quest guys will now be doing their thing on WVLT instead of WBIR.

Not surprised. Got the Austin Price connection and the PrepXtra connection there, too. That group is trying to monopolize the high school/recruiting news media in this town.

1180 WVLZ is ditching the Oldies format and is going to all sports next Monday. Yahoo Sports and Vols. Bi-polar radio.

I wonder if they kill off the sports format again, oh maybe a few weeks before the 2015 football season starts.

Hooker pops up again? Good grief. Hooker has been there. They were doing a combo sports talk with Swain and Hooker having shows, and some kind of country music format, since TSR ended. I tried to find a YahooSportsRadio website that lists programming, but there isn't a programming list anywhere. Bottom line, 1180 will still have to sign off at dusk due to FCC licensing requirements.

It was Oldies, not Country. Actually not a bad playlist.
Swain streams it on his App, not just his show.
