6-6 isn't an option or a realistic result. 6 wins gets Butch a bowl.

Another 5-7. However, I believe this is the end of the line for this garbage. Better days ahead.

We are going to buck the trend and go 4-8 instead of 5-7.

TN has never lost more than 7. They've won fewer than 5 though. Johnny went 4-7 in his first season - 1977. He lost 5 or more in 4 of his first 5 years.

This is by far the worst losing streak in the history of UT football. Looking at 7 straight years of at least six losses. Currently have lost 7 games in 5 of the last six years. Fulmer, Kiffin, Dooley, Jones, Hamilton, and Hart have sucked tens of millions of dollars out of the program during this run. Around $25,000,000 raked in by those six individuals. More than half of that by Fulmer and Dooley.

6 losing seasons in 9 years.
9 straight years with at least 4 losses.
6 or 7 losses in 7 of the last 9 years.
Anything short of 8-5 in 2014 is just another year of the same old chit.

In all seriousness, 8 wins in extremely doable.

In all seriousness, 8 wins in extremely doable. Utah State Arkansas State Chattanooga Florida Mississippi Missouri Vanderbilt Kentucky Liberty Bowl opponent That's 9 right there. Too bad the program is at a point where that is a long, long shot.

I actually am confidently going w/ 7-5.
More speed, more depth will show. I don't give a chit about the O-Line or D-Line. People aren't running the Wishbone. Just get all of our new dreadlocked gazelles out in space and let's go.
Phil Steele actually predicted 7-5 on Bozolio the other day.

Florida, OleMiss, Mizzou are the season. Win those, as ButchPlease should since he gets it, and there you go.

I'm sick of these multi-million dollar per year coaches acting like 7 wins is about the same thing as a national championship. UT fans have been brain washed into thinking what should be the absolute worst possible season (6 losses) is some great accomplishment. Better win seven this year.

I do think 6 and a bowl win would be acceptable. But it will also indicate to me this isn't the coach who can win World Titles. I was watching the '85 Sugar Bowl last night and did you know that Miami team had 3 senior starters? THREE.
If this is a championship staff and this vaunted class is all it's cracked up to be the dividends will be paid this year. You'll know right away.
