Howard Wood Carlus Groves Maymon Stokes
Howard Wood by far... Not at all close. However Carlus gets extra credit for roughing up Shaq and punking Dale Brown.

I agree. Woods first and Groves second. Toss-up between Maymon and Stokes. A healthy Maymon, I would rate him 2nd or 3rd.

CJ Black and the Dancing Bear might fit the category too. Howard Wood still in a landslide.

Stokes.
Will set the all-time Tennessee double/double record.
Will likely get drafted as well.

True. Athletic ability like Stokes has is far and few between in the NBA. I dont know anyone that thinks he will cut it in the league but he is easily the best of the bunch listed here.

Had Carlus Groves been eligible his Sr year, we might have played UK within 20 points in that SEC tourney game.
First time I saw him was in the 1A State title game his Sr year, my Freshman year, as he single handedly whipped the 5 white boys from Oliver Springs.
He had a Jeri Curl that would have made Dyron proud.
Where is Gannon Goodson in this discussion? He shut Shaq down over at TBA one Tuesday night, in the 9:30 ESPN game.

First State Tourney I ever went to.

Did you stick around for the AA game with Lang Wiseman vs Anfernee Hardaway?
Wiseman caught what seemed like 10 alley-oops . Penny was good, but that Bolton team was better, and Wiseman stood out more.
That was 1989.

Goodson wasn't necessarily that thick compared to his length. The senior Dancing Bear wasn't either, but the freshman version was.
I find it hard to believe that Stokes and Maymon are only 10 pounds bigger than me. I guess I've really let myself go to hell.
