Wichita St wasn't a debacle.
They are #6 and 15-0. Was a close back n forth game throughout.

Except for a couple of bad, unforced turnovers, McRae had a good game again. The team does much better when three or four score double digits and he has a handful of assists.
Maymon was slow to get it going. He needs to be consistent for entire games for this team to be successful.
Overall... real good defense, way too many turnovers. I don't think that Thompson played as much as usual... at least in the first half. Edwards and Reese continue to get minutes. I don't think that Richardson played much in the 1st half either.

Richardson played 31 quiet minutes. 5 shots, 0 free throw attempts, 2 rebounds, 1 block, 1 turnover.
Davis and Hubbs III did not play a single minute. Thompson only played 13 minutes. Even Pops played 3 minutes.
Starters played 168 minutes. Bench played 32 minutes.

It's really kind of sad how bad the LSU fan support has become. Hard to believe with the players that they've had in their history and a 9-3 team has to play in a nearly empty arena. Pistol Pete is my favorite non-UT SEC player. Chris Jackson was the best point guard that I've ever seen in the TBA. The twin towers were amazing.

It seems like they got the message on their effort against NC State.

my theory is that Cuonzo was determined to not let the game slip away. He needed that win badly and freshmen make mistakes on the road. it would have been good experience for them, but getting wins is more crucial to his career at this point rather than developing young players for the future.

If they keep playing like that, they will be a factor. Win the next two then go up to Rupp and do that to Kensucky!
