MP and I have been talking about it a lot. He feels horrible about it.
I really have no feel for it.
If pushed to make a pick, I think we are 4-7 points better.
Shrugs.

Where are you getting this sure thing win, MRM. Its all over my Twitter feed too. A bizarre irrational exuberance.
The only thing in UT's favor is that Vandy doesn't have a decisive team speed edge which is how the last four weeks turned into a laughingstock.
They better put Sutton on Matthews with a safety as help or he might have 400 yards.
Can't think of very many positions, if any, where UT has an edge. Vandy is CLEARLY better coached.
Vandy 24 UT 13

He will have eyebrows before he has a TD pass.
Weirdest looking kid I've ever seen.

Dobbs will throw some TD passes on Sat. I am not going to say 100% but I think Tennessee can beat Vandy. I still don't know why most are so positive Tenn will lose.
I am not so sure Vandy is better coached. Jones did out coach the great Spurrier.
Like I have said, Tenn has alot of intangibles on their side.
1. Week off (Jones is 9-1 after off weeks) 2. Senior day 3. What Vandy did to Tenn last year. 4. of course... the home crowd.
They should be fired up. There are a few positions where Tenn is probably better. I haven't watched Vandy enough to know. Probable some of the offensive linemen and maybe a defensive lineman or two. Is Vandy's middle linebacker better than A. J. Johnson?
GO VOLS AND I WILL HANG UP AND LISTEN!

I'm not saying we CAN'T beat Vandy either but most are acting like its a foregone conclusion. They are way better then they have been probably in ever.

There is no doubt UT CAN win.
However, it took a lot of good fortune to beat some pretty crumby teams early on, and we are not that much better than too many teams.
The days of UT being UT and Vandy being Vandy, are not here.
There is no doubt UT CAN lose as well.

Magnum breaking it down like no other. Yeah, pretty underwhelming there. BUT, I too am tired of people carrying on like we can just show up an and win. It is all well and good to have faith. But faith has to be in something. It cannot just be faith, in faith, believing everything is just going to be good, because we believe it will be good. I grew up in a great time to be a UT fan. There was never a game I thought UT couldn't win. I think it is a really sad thing, that UT has gotten to the point where they HAVE to beat Vandy and KY to make a bowl. Just like last year. It is even sadder, that it will take our best effort to win them both. These games are supposed to be games where the walk ons get to play . I think people that are saying these are guaranteed wins, need to be drug tested.

Mag,
On the other hand, I am tired of all these people (kinda like Cowboy) who are so positive that Vandy is going to win and there is no way Tennessee can and laugh at or criticize those who think they can. It is still Vandy. Sure they beat Florida and Georgia but they weren't your normal Florida and Georgia just like Tennessee ain't normal Tennessee. I know Tennessee has a long way to go but they still have a great chance to beat Vandy. Some of these goofballs think Vandy is as good as Missouri, Auburn or Alabama the way they talk. Vandy wins by turnovers when they win. If Tennessee takes care of the ball, they should win imo.

In the past few weeks, I have seen nothing in Butch's coaching, Dobbs QBacking, team spirit or defense that makes me think UT can win. Have they been completely overmatched or gave up? We think UT will be playing hard for a bowl bid. Nothing would excite Franklin and Vandy more than to beat UT and knock them out of a bowl. The return of glory will have to wait one more year, Vandy wins easily.
