All of those are far better than the band of metro-sexuals that call themselves Train.

Damn it cowboy, there is good stuff always being made its just not on the radio anymore. Yes. In my case (taste), there is tons of great blues (and blues rock) out there that never sniffs the main radio stations. Internet radio however plays some great stuff. Great music out there, just gotta find it.

Speaking of train songs, I love this one (even though it is bluegrass.)

I have to admit, Roy has me pegged there. I was always a top 40 type music listener or whatever WQUT was playing. Then when MTV came along I "expanded" my horizons to homogenized metal like Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe. I have never been one to experiment with new music. Don't have the patience for it.
But even if this great modern music was on the radio or not, I wouldn't hear it. When I'm in the car it's sports talk or news and its been that way since about my senior year of college.
The Nirvana's of the world turned me against the whole thing.

Nickelback? What else.. Train and Creed? Doh!!! And perhaps the greatest train song ever written: I like Jerry Jeff Walker's "Desperados waiting on a train" better.

TNCowboy watches Survivor and wears North Face. I only watched Survivor one season. WAYYYY back. Maybe season 3. Guy on there named Travis that they called Bubba was on my football team pretty much my entire life. Red headed hick sounding dude. He lasted about 3 weeks. In rehab, I traded this guy who was from Germantown a Polo T Shirt for a NorthFace jacket. He had more clothes than me which is almost impossible. I was so looking forward to wearing that jacket. Always wanted to be cool and be repping a NorthFace. Anyway, when I came out of there I was just barely south of 190. That was the MAX I could weigh and wear that thing. So I relapsed immediately and have never worn it once. I don't even know where the fuck it is. So.... Shrugs.

I was wanting a Northface coat a couple of weeks ago. Checked them out on-line and they were about $200. I decided that I'll try to find the Old Navy xxxl tall on sale for around $40. Got tired of waiting. Quit shopping for one. :Decided to keep wearing the ones that I already have. Spent $40 on guitar accessories at musicians friend.com. Listened to Nickelback, Train, and Creed on the internet. Shot some heroin into my left eyeball. Posted on TLF.com.
