looking at your list from UTsports I found a few omissions.
In 80 or 81 Im pretty sure Jeff Olszewski started a few in place of Alatorre. They seemed to rotate.
In 1994 Todd Helton started at least 3 games before Manning started a game.
In 2000 Joey Matthews and AJ Suggs started games before C Clausen
In 2002 CJ Leak and James Banks each started a game when Clausen was hurt.
In 2004 Brent Schaeffer started the first two games at least before Ainge started a game
Also Nick Stephens started a few games in 2008

Yes, I think that they maybe named permanent starters for each year. They only listed more than one a few times. Interesting that in 2004 they had Ainge and Clausen but not Schaeffer. BS started the first game in 2004 when they wore the throw back jerseys from around 1970... white jersey with orange shoulders.
I'm going to go through the lettermen... I think that they've listed the position and year(s). Anybody that started should be on the lettermen's list, but the position might not be exact.. James Banks for example might not be listed as a QB.

In 1994 they list Colquitt, but he only started the opener at UCLA and early on had his career ending knee injury. They omitted many that started so it's probably an honorary thing... kind of like permanent captains. Or maybe Bud Ford didn't like some of them (I have no idea who compiled that started list over at the UTAD SI office).

Doc Rudder 26 completions, 43 passes, 5 INTs Only 12 of his 43 passes hit the ground. Obviously that makes him the greatest QB in the history of UT football.

I think Wilbert Jones started a game or two at QB until Streater took over. He was then moved to defensive back and was pretty good at that. running back in 1976... 8 carries

I wonder how accurate it is. Dave Chadwick in 1970 and Dennis Chadwick in 1971 & 1972. Rude, were there Chadwick brothers or do you thibk that is a mistake?
The passing stats only go back a few years into the era before the T formation. Starts in 1956 it appears.
