OK, so I was wrong. I loathed the Breaking Bad sheep on Twitter. I noticed that they were all Clay Travis types. I am smarter than you kind of people that I could beat the crap out of with one leg.
Anyway, so I dont have tons to do obviously so I fired up this series on Netflix. Its beyond my capabilities to describe how good it is. I am just halfway through the THIRD show. Essentially, my belief is that this show demonstrates the unseen consequences of going bad. And its funny and sad as hell for the viewer. Most can relate but not all the way as its so absurd.

It should be said, it isnt a "TV show" in the most accurate description. You cant compare it to Seinfeld or NYPD Blue simply because the content allowed isnt remotely the same. Its more like a very long R rated movie without CGI.
So no it isnt the "best TV show of all time". Same thing they were saying about Sopranos. HBO and NBC are as similar as RJ and Jesus.
And evidently that applies to basic cable now as well. Hard for me to understand how saying fuck and showing tits is OK for free TV. And thats what Basic Cable is now people. No different than the antennas of my youth.

Keep watching it only gets better. Unless the wheels come off this weekend, I think it might be my favorite show ever.

So I am thru Season Two and a couple of things rather mundane stick out to me.
1)Walt is a tenured public school teacher but I think I am led to believe he doesnt have insurance. Now thats damn funny.
2)All you hear in the acting by Cranston in this show. For my money, the kid that plays Jessee is the best actor on the show. His non verbal horror when fearing or watching violence and the abject astonishment when the impossible happens makes the show.

I wouldn't watch it with a gun to my head. Life's hard enough. Why watch an even more brutal version?

I said the exact same thing.
Took exactly one episode to change my mind.

I'm not watching anythong that sports media personalities are giddy about.

I really have no defense for that. That is a paraphrase of my own personal Mission Statement. 45 minutes in and I was hooked.
