Agree. Considering the stakes and the equal distribution of talent, that is for sure a contender for top Fulmer shit the bed. The '99 game wasn't much better. Or I guess the 2000 game. IMO, consistently allowing 10yd+ runs up the middle can feel like more of a massacre than leaving receivers so open that it looks like they're in their own zip code, even if the final scores are similar.

Yeah. We've seen both obviously. Neither is fun. Sort of like taking strychnine or being eaten by a bear.

They said today that this beat down was the worst since 1910 which was a shellacking of 45-0 by some smaller school. I guess yesterday's was the worst for me. I was at that 1910 game (I'm old ya know!) and it didn't hit us that hard since we weren't spoiled by Neyland yet. Sure will be great when Butch gets it going. I hope it comes sooner than 16 years cause I don't want to wait that long to see a winner like I had to do from 1910 to 1926 or so. Kinda sucks. I am old you know.
