As far as I'm concerned, Butch can try anything he thinks will help. More power to him. Yep!

KOZ, we are really serious about our RASSLIN around here. The Knowville Civic Coliseum and Boutwell Auditorium in B'ham are the shrines of rasslin in the south. I would expect you to take it more serious as well. You can add to that Mid-South Colisseum, the old Turner studio and by extension... "...at the Omni in Atlanta". /Gordon Solie voice.

Really, Knoxville was so much, a Southeastern Championship Rasslin area, that we never got much of Mid-South here.
Then when it really starting hitting big, stations couldn't put enough rasslin on. We got NWA on TBS, AWA on ESPN, and one of the channels here started showing Mid-South. Lance Russell was on Solie's level. He just didn't have the exposure Solie did.

I never saw any Memphis stuff either, Mag. Which is u believable considering the quality.
I guarantee if you start YouTubing Wreatling and stumble upon Memphis you won't leave. The stuff they were doing on no money was unbelievable. No gimmicks other than good old fashioned wrestling psychology.
Lance Russell at live shows was so good you would think it was Al Michaels.

Now that you mention it... I saw the Iron Shiek/ Volkoff get whipped by Mike Rotunda/Barry Windham in Boutwell a cpl hundred years ago.

Mag is also selling the Buffalo burger, and Koz is as well selling it, along with the Cas Walker, may he RIP...
All of they all has contributed to derailing this most excellent thread.
Case closed.

Basilio was talking about Hardees selling a Buffalo Burger. , and I wanted to give the line "I will not do business with anyone who sells the Buffalo Burger". But thought his sponsor might get upset at that one. I did mention a little John Bean in a call last week.

That would have been epic, IMO.
Probably all would have been fine.
Better safe than sorry though, as thin-skinned and unpredictable as people seem to be in these days and times.
